Ama’s Homestay is located in the small picturesque village of Hyangjakot which is about an hour’s drive from Pokhara city. This is the perfect location to start or end your trekking. All trekking services are available.

Where to find us
We are located in the small village of Hyangjakot which is in the Dhital area. This is a perfect location to start your trekking as the permit area is only an hour’s walk away. If you are arriving or staying in Pokhora we can arrange a jeep to pick you up. The drive is about an hour.
SERVICES WE PROVIDE
At 1600 m altitude, Ama’s Guesthouse is the perfect location to acclimatize a couple of days before trekking higher. It’s a beautiful trek from here to Dhampus and higher. Our guides and porters can meet you here to start your trek.
TREKKINGS
There are many wonderful trekkings that can be started from this location, Mardi Himal, Annapurna Circuit, Australian Base Camp to name a few. Let us advise you depending on your wishes, duration, health, etc.
GUIDES AND PORTERS
We only work with experienced locals. Using a guide ensures your safety and makes your trip much easier as far as finding good overnight stays and food. We can arrange everything you will need for an amazing experience including permits, professional guides, porters and equipment.
TRANSPORTATION
For the mountains, the most comfortable and safe ways to travel is by jeep. Let us arrange your pick-up from Pokhora using local experienced drivers.
